Metroid Prime 2: Echoes is a first-person adventure video game taking place within the Metroid series. It is a direct sequel to Metroid Prime. It was developed by Retro Studios and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo GameCube video game console. It was released on November 15, 2004 in North America. It was also the first Metroid game to feature a multiplayer feature.
