    God of War Sequel Confirmed

Just this week it was released that the massively popular God of War, the ultraviolent PS2 game which featured somewhat demigod Kratos who challenged the gods himself, will recieve a sequel sometime in the future.

Inside news has it that the sequel to God of War will contain a lot of features that the original game had removed, such as the Icarus Wings. These itsems were presumably removed from God of War due to programming or simply time issues, and will more than likely show up in the sequel.

This news surprises no-one, because Sony is well known for making sequels to anything that brings in a buck. The sequel to God of War will be developed at Sony's Santa Monica studio, and not under the wing of David Jaffe, the original developer, who is now working on a PSP title. This is a dissapointment to fans, who know David Jaffe as the key element in the production of God of War, which may mean God of War 2 is already doomed to failure. More news will be featured on Gametrash.com as it is released.
