Age of Mythology & The Titans Server Test

We will soon bring a new set of servers online to support Age of Mythology’s multiplayer system and would like to open up AoM’s new home for an open beta this weekend! The player that plays the most games over the weekend will receive a signed copy of the Age of Mythology Gold Edition and their choice of one of four of Microsoft’s latest games.
To access the new test servers you will need to edit your hosts file, which is located on your machine at: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc. Be sure to make a backup copy of the file before you start editing it. Open the hosts file using Notepad and paste in the following lines at the bottom of the file:

72.3.239.132 config.aom.eso.com
72.3.239.132 configx.aom.eso.com
72.3.239.132 aom.eso.com
72.3.239.154 sas.aom.eso.com
When you save the hosts file, make sure it is not given a .txt file extension. When you have completed pasting in the above information into the hosts file, you should be able to log in to AoM’s multiplayer as usual.
