Peter Hirschmann named "Hot Game Developer of 2007"

Next Generation Online has named Peter Hirschmann, Vice President of Product Development at LucasArts, as one of the "Hot 100 Game Developers of 2007." The list was developed based primarily on a studio's market success in 2006 and potential market success in 2007. Its members included people who Next Generation Online's staff felt were influential or innovative creative contributiors to the gaming industry during the last year.

Coming in at No. 38, Next Generation had this to say about Peter: "One of the many World War II first-person shooter veterans you will see on this list, Hirschmann has long moved from the Medal of Honor series. ... LucasArts' two new games, Indiana Jones and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed are loaded to the brim with new technology -- advanced particle middleware and NaturalMotion's Euphoria AI will debut in these works, making for believable, unpredictable takes on these loved universes. They're exciting projects, and Hirschmann has the background to bring them together."
